Pretty simple. Give us a call to talk about what you want to learn. We prefer starting people with paper over fabric, but 90% of what we do applies to either. The main difference is how you register multiple colors andwith the fabric side you will need to supply the materials to print on. Choice is completely up to you which direction we go. You can always come back and schedule an { advanced workshop } to learn either paper or fabric.
We'll cover art and film preparation for 2 color printing, screens - mesh, emulsion, exposure, cleaning and registration. You can bring your own art or we have plenty of imagery you can scan and use.
We will start with some of the basics and short demonstrations. Then we'll continue by preparing your art, exposing screens and spend time printing. At the end of the lesson you'll walk away with general knowledge of screen-printing, a small booklet of resources, and about 10 prints of your work.
